Iain Balchin

Iain’s extensive expertise has been gathered over three decades and includes the banking, payments, wealth management and more recently SaaS technology sectors. He has held senior finance leadership roles at BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered, Lloyds Banking Group. and St. James Place Wealth Management.

 

For the last 10 years, Iain has focused on assisting some of the world’s largest PE-backed growth fintechs, including Wizink, World Remit, Ramp Network and Tradeshift through their growth journey. Most recently, as the CFO of MyPOS, Iain helped transform the European payments business company further to its acquisition by Advent international.

 

Iain’s experience includes finance transformation, refinancings, equity and debt raises, and he has taken several companies public. He holds a degree in accounting and finance from Oxford University and a certificate in financial management from the IMD
